Description

The micro-Deval apparatus evaluates the wear resistance of crushed stone and gravel: the sample is abraded by steel balls in a rotating drum with added water, simulating the behaviour of the aggregate in a road pavement.

The apparatus is equipped with two sealed stainless steel drums, allowing two samples to be tested in parallel and halving the duration of a test series. The electronic counter switches off the drive precisely after 12,000 revolutions.

Features

  • Two stainless steel drums for parallel testing
  • Sealed lids with quick-release clamps
  • Automatic stop at the preset number of revolutions
  • Set of ⌀ 10 mm abrasive balls in the scope of supply
  • Protective guard with a limit switch
