Description
The universal hardness tester performs measurements on the Brinell, Rockwell and Vickers scales in a single instrument: a load of 9.8 to 1839 N is applied by an electromechanical drive with closed-loop force feedback, eliminating operator influence on the loading cycle.
The built-in optical system with a camera and image analysis software automatically measures the diagonals and diameters of the indentations; the result is converted between scales using the standard tables. A rotating turret with two indenters and objectives speeds up switching between methods.
The instrument is supplied with hardness reference blocks, a stage with coordinate movement and reporting software.
