Product code IT-BT435
Kinematic viscosity bath
Transparent thermostatic bath for four capillary viscometers with temperature stability of ±0.01 °C.
- 24-month warranty and spare parts from stock
- Commissioning, staff training and methodological support
- Assistance with equipment certification as part of your laboratory
Description
The thermostatic bath is intended for determining the kinematic viscosity of petroleum products and liquid bitumens with capillary viscometers. The transparent toughened glass walls allow the meniscus movement to be observed without removing the viscometer.
A precision PID controller with a platinum sensor and a stirrer maintains the temperature to within ±0.01 °C — the key requirement of the GOST 33 and ASTM D445 test methods. Four seats accept viscometers of common types (Pinkevich, Cannon–Fenske, Ubbelohde).
Features
- Temperature stability of ±0.01 °C
- Four seats for standard viscometers
- Transparent walls with working area illumination
- Stepless adjustment from +20 to +100 °C
- Coil for connecting external cooling
